I agree, Sam, this is an all too familiar site in the Pacific Northwest where lumber is harvested and then exported. Nice thought provoking image.

I felt sad as some beautiful trees were cleared to give way to a new bike trail the town has recently approved. It was even more sad when each of those familiar trees became a mere number as the loggers went through them. Sam Attal
