The Arc of Her Eye...

Please note the Microcassette earrings...I could have added eyebrows, eyes and bridge of nose to the title had I wanted.

It is surprising just how many arcs there are in a face.

********

Edit, obviously....and yet I'm torn...she seemed so happy in the other image...and that's what I liked and, artistically, what I wanted to show. A pretty girl, made prettier, transformed by her happiness.

Cool.

But TV is right also....this is better artistically.

Hey, he's got the eye...I just shoot this stuff.

Canon EOS 350D
1/60s f/5.6 at 85.0mm iso200 full exif

Neat idea Trav. --Melanie

I did have to clean up her nose, tone down some skin hi-lights....but yes, in the end, this does work much better...the softening of the nose was important I think.

I get busy or lazy, TV, thanks for the kick in the butt.

This does it for me. I like the opposing arcs of the bridge of the nose and hair fall. -tv

Okay, I'll get radical on this. Thanks, Traveller

Great idea but please allow me some constructive comment. This functions mostly as a portrait with some wonderful arcs in the face. As an image it could be more effective with a tighter crop on the arcs of interest, say, the right side of her face. The well-articulated arc of the asian eye can be striking. -tv
