Am Siegestor

Munich, Germany

in-camera black-and-white conversion;

unedited, resized only;

tilt and light-trail were attempts to add some interest to an otherwise pretty static image;

The Siegestor (Victory Gate) in Munich, is a three-arched triumphal arch crowned with a statue of Bavaria with a lion-quadriga, similar in style to the Arch of Constantine in Rome, the Marble Arch in London, the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and the Brandenburger Tor in Berlin.

Nico, you shoot these just to make me feel bad and a stay-at-home stick in the mud, don't you? Another very worthy entry from you....but interestingly, though I've flown in to Munich Airport a dozen times, I've never stayed in Munich itself.

Odd, no?

Best Wishes, Traveller
