When I said washed out, that need not hold a negative connotation....almost hi-key is also a very distinct style. And good in this instance. Best Wishes, Traveller
While it is washed out, it also has the charm of a faded old vacation photo. It's nice to see beachfront houses that have maintained that "olde" Cape Cod look.

Thanks, Traveller! It is washed out. I will see if I have a more balanced shot on the card. Taken from a small boat, a 13' Whaler, pretty safe with life jackets, floatation cushions and a loud, loud air horn. Most of my shots from that day were tilted from the wakes of other, bigger boats hitting us as I pressed the shutter. A summer Sunday on the Cape, what did I expect?! Still it was a fun excursion with lunch at a restaurant that had its own dock that we could tie up to and these great little cottages! ~Sharon
At first this looks a little washed out to me, Sharon, but upon reflection...especially with the white trim, the white window frames, the white light house.....this is surprisingly effective.
But, seriously now, what are you doing that far out in the bay? A boat? A small boat?
