Caddy

For this picture I set the camera to B&W with a blue tint as I felt the mechanical nature of the subject was more apporpriately rendered in the blue. I increased the sharpness and contrast just a bit. Since I wanted the final product to be on the dark side I adjusted the camera's exposure balance to one stop under exposed and then set the auto exposure bracketing so that I ended up with a shot at 2 stops under exposed, one stop underexposed and properly exposed. Looking at the pictures on my computer I picked the one I liked the best. This one is two stops under exposed.

Last, I put a little vaseline on the outer edges of the filter to soften the focus. I probably should have used more vaseline. The vaseline is a bugger to clean off!
