The theme for Challenge 42 will be: Patterns in Nature

Spiraling seashells, triangular mountains, geometric snowflakes, rippling waves of sand or stone. The pattern should be a recognizable, repeated series of colors or shapes that is not created by humans. Patterns should be identifiable, but don’t have to be exact repetitions. Nature is imperfect. Please have fun with this, and try something new.

The Eligible gallery is for images captured with a Canon DSLR during the Challenge period and subject to rules outlined in the Official Challenge thread.
