Kakku is in the Shan Sate surrounded by Pa-O villages. The 2,478 stupas at Kakku are quite impressive. At Taunggyi, $3 per person fee and $5 for a guide are charged. A taxi must be arranged by yourself. Round trip from Nyaungshwe by taxi is 50,000 kyat.
