If the nearby parks, Minneriya and Kaudulla, are off-season, this park provides an option to see elephants. Access roads are always full of holes, and SUV rides extreme bumpy, but elephants many. Tall grasses frequently prevent you from taking perfect pictures. There is a vista point on top of a rock outcrop, and the view is vast and 360 degrees.
