This large garden is a few kilometers south west of Kandy. It is surrounded by a river on 3 sides and used to serve Kandyan royalty only. Lots trees in beautiful shapes, a nice collection of orchids, and full of local couples romantically involved. Again, monkeys find it home. Those Toque Macaque monkeys have unique hair style, a whorl on the head. Nearby Peradeniya train station has trains to Nanu Oya and Ella, well-known for roadside forests, waterfalls, and tea plantations.
