Sudan - 2016

Sudan is the third largest country in Africa; the mighty Nile River flows through it. The areas we visited are desert (many different types). Much of the area was Nubia, famous for its temples and pyramids. Sudan's pyramids are more numerous than those of Egypt, and of a different style. Most temple ruins are ground plans that suggest how the temples once looked. Sudan is famous for its CAMELS! Its people have beautiful, dark skin and, perhaps, are the friendliest we've yet encountered.
