Amritsar, India plus Kashmir

Amritsar is a city in the state of Punjab, India; it is the home of the Sikh religion. Its Golden Temple houses the "holy of the holies" of the Sikhs, the sacred scripture, Guru Granth Sahib; the temple is covered with gold and is gorgeous night and day. Kashmir is the northernmost region of the Indian subcontinent and is famed for its beauty.
