This 700 year old yew tree in the churchyard of St Brynachs , Nevern , Pembrokeshire , Wales , bleeds a sticky blood coloured red sap . Several myths and legends surround the event , the most common being that an innocent monk was hanged from the branches of this tree and it will continue to bleed until a Welshman rules again in Nevern Castle.
