The clock tower in the centre of the picture is part of the main entrance to Bank Top railway station, which was completed in 1887. It was designed by William Bell of the North Eastern Railway. Warner & Sons of London cast the bell for the tower in 1886. It no longer in use but is on display on the station platform.
The Methodist Church on the corner of Hargreave Terrace is now a bathroom showroom. Sadly it longer has the upper section of its tower.
