Malcolm Usher. Attended 63-69. This block was newly built for my last year there (the year it became mixed). My classroom was on the ground floor, at the front. I used to love going to school and these photos bring it all back. Such a shame to see it in a poor state of repair but I presume just before demolition. Judging by the lot numbers there must have been an auction of contents - I wish I had known. Thanks for putting the pics on line, very grateful.

I went to the girls part of the school in 1957-61 and there were a lot of changes, mostly to the windows on the corridors they were glass when I went there but all filled in on the photos. Looked rather drab there was much more natural light when I went and we had rolling rubber blackboards not those hard wall mounted ones which is presumably in the boys end of the school. What happened to the balcony in the school hall? Very sad it has closed. (speaking from Australia)
