Heritage Square Museum
In 1969, when many historic buildings in Los Angeles were facing demolition, prominent citizens, working with the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Board, established Heritage Square Museum as a sanctuary to preserve and restore historic buildings. These buildings were relocated from Mt. Pleasant, Boyle Heights, Palms and Pasadena and moved near the Pasadena freeway near Ave. 43.
