There's something very special about the way this image conveys the forest and trail and the time of year, and also how the human foot print, even many human footprints, are still compatible with the natural environment. It conveys the environment so well, I can almost smell the newly fallen oak leaves in the dampness. I had this impulse to look at the image to see if anybody was coming down the trail from the curve ahead -- probably because I've been watching too many clips about that politician from South Carolina :-).
