My local weekly newspaper has a Nature Notes column and I was recently asked to submit some articles to cover for a previous contributor who was retiring due to ill health.

These are the images for my first 4 week stint. I tried to keep things simple and avoided anything overly technical, hoping to encourage the general public to look at insects in a different way.
