Sailing the West Coast of Scotland August 2006

A collection of photos taken on our recent trip on the West Coast. These will be annotated when I find the time! If you are interested in the Shiants there is a great website run by the owner Adam Nicholson at:

Many of these were taken with the Canon 400mm f/5.6 lens using the Canon 1.4x adapter (so autofocus by default is lost), and all were taken with the Canon 20d. Shots were handheld from either the moving boat (!) or the inflatable dingy (!) neither of which form good platforms, so the photos are soft.
