found on south side trail in area of Sugar Maples, Beech
and other deciduous trees, at Baird Woods.

Hi Bev, Tom again. I don't know if my previous post went through or not, but I had sent one in on this species too. I found one of these Pelecinid on a rhododendrum plant in my yard. It seemed to be very docile. I was able to stroke its long hind section and it would kind of straighten out but didn't seem to be bothered. Is this species common on the east coast. Again, like the Enicospilus, it's the first time I've ever encountered a species like this.
