I shot a few photos of crayfish in this section of the river.
The crayfish in the section approaching the mouth of King's Creek
seemed a bit different than those we saw a little further downstream.
As in that area, the rocky riverbed was quite literally
crawling with crayfish of all sizes. One could barely move
any stone without exposing at least one crayfish. As well,
caddisfly larvae were abundant on the undersides of most stones.
