The Survival Systems OCFN Discrete Case for The FN PS90/P90 which has an internal compartment for storing four PS90/AR57 50rd magazines was modified for the AR57 Pistol by simply adding Velcro in selected locations to support the pistol buffer tube. No part of the case's original design was cut, damaged or relocated. The fail point in the original case design for use with the AR57 was related to the fact that only one of the reinforced vertical hanging straps could be attached to the pistol because of the relative dimensional differences between the PS90 and the AR lower receiver. Four sections of 1.5" wide Industrial Velcro One-Wrap Roll-tie strips Model #91372 - http://www.velcro.com/en/Products/Ties-and-Straps/Ties/One-Wrap-Tie-Rolls.aspx - were pressed down horizontally over the lighter weight latch surface of the built-in Velcro insert that a zippered pouch can be attached to. Two 23" x .875 inch One-wrap tie straps - Model #90700 - http://www.velcro.com/en/Products/Ties-and-Straps/Ties/One-Wrap-Ties.aspx - were then loosely wrapped around the buffer tube with the soft latch-side on inside of the loop to protect the buffer tube and the hook-side out facing out to latch vertically onto the exposed latch surface of the four sections of 1.5" wide Industrial Strength Strips thus allowing the buffer tube to easily slide out of the two buffer tube suspensor wraps when the Velco on the barrel end is released. I was unable to acquire an adhesive that would permanently bond latch-loop surfaces, so each of the tie straps was tacked with 2/0 synthetic braid at the termination of it's wraps around the buffer tube to prevent the loop from unwrapping around the buffer buffer tube if the .875 velco hook/latch started to release from itself. Clearly this case is not going to be train wreck proof, but I think it will do fine to serve the purpose of providing discrete protection against moderate external stresses while offering shrouded internal magazine storage.
