Portscatho to Porthbeor

The Roseland peninsula is small enough to divide into 2 or 3 days coast path walking, or maybe 4 spending longer on the beaches - see also St Anthony's Head and Place gallery for the end of the peninsula and River fal and creeks gallery for the less obvious start from Gerrans going towards the St Mawes estuary first.

We usually stay in Portscatho and this walk/gallery takes a comfortable day there and back. One or two very small beaches (very small at high tide!), then Towan, a bit more crowded with flat access from a car park; the birds didn't used to mind, but have thinned out considerably in recent years. Then Porthbeor and Elwinick cove, with possibility of dive/jump into deep water at all tides; one or other a must-swim
.
