Merbach Hill and Thor's stone

Merbach Hill is a high point in north-west Herefordshire with long uninterupted views (apart from the vegetation taking over near the summit). The walks suggested ( http://wyewalker.com/e2-merbach-hill/ usually take in the nearby Arthur's, or more likely Thor's Stone on the ridge from which the village name Dorstone is thought to derive. Gallery under construction - pics of Thor's stone from an earlier vist with spectacular and appropriate hoar frost
