Early C12th doorway

Listed as of C12th origin http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-281973-church-of-st-peter-holton-suffolk#.VzjpRWOr--I but heavily restored in the C19th. Evidently before what became the classic development of 'Norman' doorways & with unidentified creature above the arch, perhaps a remnant of animism
