Lavenham - 'Kentish' house at corner of lady Street

The type of house shown reached perfection in Kent, hence the name in the early C15th. The two gables would have been kitchen wing and 'solar' wing which were the private quarters of the owner, with the full height 'hall' in between. The street name no doubt foreshadowed the impossibility of taking photos without including a lady on a mobile

Another very striking structure, and perfect timing to get the woman in the frame.
