The 'great hall'

this is a large room, but no longer the medieval hall into which all travellers were admitted. The rather eccentric plasterwork is attributed to the tastes of Sir Richard Grenville, the original owner of the converted house, who was losing his mind at the end of his life (some details to follow, but missed the naughty bits)

Very nicely composed interior image. I like the contrast of the patterns on the floor and the ornate ceiling. "V"

Well shot interior, I have the feeling of space and light here. It is somewhat eccentric in the design, V
