beyond the current confines of the church is the foundation and semi-circular apse of the original chancel, with the original chancel arch clearly visible on the right. Facing is one remaining facet of the apse with the famous Angel (another pic) on its reverse. The building beyond was once part of the priory, but is now a farmhouse.
