Eastnor obelisk from Malvern Hills

I wonder if its worth bothering trying to get landscapes into the sun on a hard-light day, but fairly pleased with this one except that the colour in the central strip doesn't seem consistent

With the sun where it is, colour IS going to change a bit across the frame because the light is hitting things at significantly different angles with respect to the camera. It is quite a magic image really. V

The toughest challenges are always worth it. I look at the distant hills fading to blue and then come back to the line of foreground trees following a similar shape.
