Dunwich to Covehithe

2014 on - additions as a local day-tripper
2013 - additions "Walberswick in summer"
2012 - additions "Walberswick in winter"
2011 - additions "The other Southwold"

Take at least a whole day to do the circuit from Walberswick over the marsh, down through Dunwich forest, lunch or tea at Bridge farm Dunwich then return by the beach. Another day for Walberswick village, cross river Blyth by old railway bridge, fish & chips or tea on Southwold quay. Ferry in summer to shorten the return.

Covehithe area is another day and one of the nicest swimming beaches.

Observe birds more informally than in RSPB Minsmere - birds at present in gallery: 'a few birds'
