Church of St Leonard, Charlcote

A very plain building as viewed fro the park in rather cold looking stone, but it is a good example of early gothic revival architecture and has older memorials to members of the Lucy family rescued from the earlier Norman church

Stunning...! As you say, I would never have guessed how ornate (and lovely) this is from the exterior (which I have always found a bit forbidding...). Beautifully captured, as always....
