ash,oak, beech & chestnut

Oak is normally the king of the English landscape, but on limestone the ash tends to dominate and even shove oaks aside. For mature oaks in the landscape, see gallery: 'Colwall and Eastnor'. There are also a few horse and sweet chestnuts dotted about, i supect planted, and Beech grows naturally.
