Chris, This pottery is really nice. My personal fav. is Monet's garden. I like the altered bowl too.

I bought some horsehair pottery at an art gallery - paid a decent price. Yours is just as good - I'M MAJORILY IMPRESSED!!!! YOU GO GIRL

Good question...the horsehair is used to add the black marks to the pottery after it has been fired for the last time. Basically, as soon as the pot is taken out of the kiln (and it's way too hot to touch) you touch it with the horsehair, that burns up and the black marks soak into pot creating those black marks. It's a stinky but fun process.
