I'm curious to know if, like quite a few people, you were surprised that these battleships had wooden decks. I love visiting these old ships. The USS Lexington is nearby here in Corpus Christi and my wife and I got a chance to visit it again recently. Actually about two weeks before you took this nice family photo.
