Thirteen

Some abstract philosophy about this topic, maybe not quite specific enough?

I thought this image hit the nail on the head so to speak. It's beautifully done but very sad. The thirteenth hour can mean so many things but here it is spooky. The figure makes me think of death, then there are the thirteen steps. I don't even want to think that it is past your time for living. I am not ready to go there. ---skunk

The abstract philosophy is interesting in symbolism and Title. A bit like "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy." Posing the question of, what's the meaning to life? Answer: Forty Two. Yet in that book the question of what 42 meant was not asked and remains abstract. We are left to our own imagination as to what Thirteen means here...Age, Steps, Time, etc? I particularly like that clock in Black and White that has only one number Twelve and the number Thirteen is not designed as such; as if the hours, minutes and seconds just can't be recounted or recovered and Twelve is the end...Thirteen doesn't exist. As with Life your luck/life just ran out. Tying in with the figure that seems helpless to move any further as is absent of legs and arms. Good un Cg

It looks like the end of the world - or the end of??? Go on up those stairs the clock is ticking. The figure works - I like it.
