Shu, The dark represents the bad days like being sideswiped by an 18 wheeler while minding my own business, my husband tripping and falling, all that is involved in settling the insurance on the van and hopefully all is now trapped and iced in....lol

dropping by again, i need to know exactly what is "frozen" in this block of ice? i keep looking at the dark critters below and now feel they are "crickets" struggling to escape their fate.!! (i am competing w hawk on imagining the gruesome. LOL) so, this very lovely creation holds mystery for this viewer. shu

This is quite beautiful to me. It makes me think of a frosted crystallized winter window with a sunset or sunrise hitting the pane. To me, it is rather peaceful.--skunk

Ann, this is interesting--the background says wall design, as in wall paper or marbling, but the floating objects seem to be emerging from the background--it might be a good room decor for a scary scenario--"The walls are alive!" Like a lot of the entries in this challenge, it is hard to categorize, but certainly worth seeing.
