Old Man of the Forest

Bear and racoon shot in the zoo here - bug from the swamp - cave from an old army base. The old guy just seemed to fit as part of the terrain.

Wonderfully suggestive of age and myth, legend and memory. It makes me think of an old storybook.Beautifully rendered.

The nappy guy looks like my Dad of ninety...the Bear;-) not Ol' Man. Isn't he the brother of Mother Nature from a another Mother. LoL Funny thing here is I look like my Dad and I think I'm dreaming of what I would taste like. I like living in a zoo with plenty of meat for the nose that knows, speak beak. What would he say? The Bear that is the real Ol' Man of the Forest.
