Her Own Keeper

The partially open doorway and the glass made me think of those who are their own keeper for whatever reason. Fairly straightforward with the rod things as the bars.

I like where you’ve been going in you latest submissions. It seems that you are exploring new ways of presenting your ideas. For example, in your image “Who Should You Trust”http://www.pbase.com/creativematrix/image/130795242 where the hands seem to be disintegrating and this one where the figure seems to be contained in a swirling electronic or psychological container seem to be deeply personal. These are not pictorial weaves made to be pretty, which, in my opinion, make them very effective.

Congratulations on finding a use for those colored tubes--when I submitted it, I had my doubts about it. The water is a perfect setting for this idea of proud isolation combined with sadness--water contains all, right? And, of course the open door represents the decision time--in or out?
A thoughtful image and a fine use of the challenge images.

I don't see this so straightforward but rather deep. Motion creates a revolving, going round and round and not evolving atmosphere. Protective shielding like a force field and am unable to make out any emotion, like sad or unhappy, strong or weak so I ask, "kept in what?" A void, away from emotion, hurt, pain?
