Am I Real?

This is an image I made some time ago, but it just wouldn't leave my mind when thinking about an image that represents my inner identity. It is not my usual style, being painterly rather than photographic.
The poetry is part of the lyrics of a song called "Brave New World", performed by STYX and written by tommy shaw.

I love the concept. I had to read the poem several times to get the feel for the image. Then it became a really meaningful statement. I find it interesting that you view the world as a "Brave New World" after living in it for even much longer than me. I would have to say that you need to be brave just to step out in it nowadays. But then again, Knowing you, you find excitement in all the new inventions that have been created and find the world a fascinating place --skunk.
