The odd looking fella is Benny, aka "Keeper of the Beneficials." While recovering, I've had fun sketching such imaginary creatures from the Fairy realm. I thought he'd be perfect for this. Anyway, I layered some flower photos over each other with different blending modes and threshold adjustments then clone/painted them into the scanned sketch. Added the text box with a gradient and took a brown stink bug photo...lol... and changed hues to green to make the aphid. Drop shadow and Voila!
