Cubist Interpretation

Really simple...Magic Wand to take out the blue in the peeling paint. Cut out and horizontal flipped the smaller gull, overlaid everything on the boat and flowers and put a drop shadow on the paint layer. It's given me some ideas for using textures like the paint to give a stained glass feeling to some of my other images. Can't wait to get started.

It is so well integrated that one wonders what the original looked like before the aging and peeling.
Very original idea.

I agree with Mary, there is a very definite "stained slass" look to your image. Replacing the blue of the peeling wall with the natural blue of the water makes this so interesting, so unique. I like this very much.

I like the combination of greens and blues. It's also a surprise to see the Gull peaking out along with the sweet red flowers. It almost comes across as a stained glass except for some of the green grass parts. It has a nice calm soothing quality, very pleasant and well done.
