A few puzzle pieces of negative pace are just missing that should be there. Then they appear to be a part of the same puzzle motif and are more colorful; but are to large and will never fit the puzzle even though they look like they might. Asks a question, are the overlay pieces of colorful unity the same replacements only striving to no longer be apart of the puzzle we think it is? Puzzling=) because the lines between the overlay pieces disappear, no ? Makes you wonder.... Killer piece Laurie!

Excellent! Not only tells but invites story. Especially like the "spectrum" of odd shapes to regular from top left to bottom right. The model looking away "reads" as introspection, leading the viewer to internalize the dialogue. Change in saturation of the pieces echoes the change in shapes, amplifying the effect.
Could be a poster for Creative Matrix, not just who we are and the sense of the words, but how we interact.

Ah! Interesting, to say the least. The "typical" puzzle piece has become the symbol for Autism awarness...and this image could very be the group's poster. Pieces not fitting is how this affliction is often described. In my teaching years this segment of the school's population most usually responded so well to art, art therapy. Your picture here brought it all back.
