Cybergrannie

Time Before and Time After...

quoted from "Four Quartets" by T.S. Eliot

It is a somber valentine perhaps--using Fay's heart, and Tim's "Ben" with a background of a floral photo of mine. The font is Kristen ITC.

You've used the heart frame so nicely around the gentleman. The verse is a little deep for me to readily understand but I can easily understand it as somber and sad. The only thing that bothers me about this image is the font which is rather lighthearted and singsong and not in the same mood as the rest of the composition.

How well you've illustrated the lines from Eliot! The somber colors work very well to enhance the mood. --Melody

This image is almost painful. There is such a huge sadness to it yet it's beautiful in it's simplicity with the graceful heart with it's delicate line swirling downward. This definitely makes a statement.--skunk

I think it's fixed now--still dark, but not too dark to see the flowers.

The composition is very nice, but it's so dark I have trouble seeing it. (I'm talking 'dark' physically, not emotionally.) I'm not sure if it's my screen and if I'm missing anything or not. I don't see any floral, for instance. Otherwise, I think it's very well composed and has a beautiful ethereal feeling. : )
