I bought this Nikon FG in 1984 after years using a fixed lense Pentax. The motor drive was added a year or so later. This little SLR was the first Nikon to have Program Auto Mode, together with Aperture Priority and Shutter Speed Priority.
Over years of use it proved to be a reliable camera and with a variety of lenses gave excellent results with Kodak slide film and a variety of monochrome and colour print film.
