June 18 - In Season?

A little surprised to find these little chaps doing their thing in a secluded part of the garden.
I associate them with Autumn rather than mid-summer.

and they look a bit weathered too..seems the northern hemisphere is out of balance..strong work with the incredible low angle...V

Must have rained a bit lately. Nice picture. I keep expecting a fairy or an elf to pop out from behind one of these things.
