Jeebus, people. I don't think this really stylised image counts as getting a tattoo of someone you don't know. It's an iconic image from the '80s and is just as sensible to get as a piece of ink as a cartoon character, sports team logo, lover's name etc.

I'm not sure why there's this judgement about tattoos that other people have had before as if one must find the most obscure Cure font or graphic to use. If someone's favourite album is Wish, then to hell if anyone else has already "used" the logo etc. Think of the cool 50s tattoo images that are popular again- they're all cliches and people don't say "oh, how original, another set of birds... another anchor... another heart with a name in it."

WOW! A tattoo of a person you don't know! Cool! I'm going to get a tattoo of Stephen Hawking on my body. It's cool to have OTHER PEOPLE on YOUR body! Now I remember why I HATE my fellow Cure fans!
