I went to Siena by train ($7 each way, 2:11). This is important because if you are like me, you like to sleep after a day of walking in the sun and being active.

I found Siena to be very interesting, with museums and sights aplenty. I spent about $130 while I was there for souvenirs, gifts, and food. Oh, the food. I recommend Papei's Trattoria in Piazza del Mercato (behind the Comune di Siena, recommended by the proprietor of the shop at which I spent most of my money). I had Coniglio all'Arrabiata (rabbit with sage and rosemary), Formaggi Misti (mixed cheese), bread and water. All for $15. What a steal.
