A sleepy beach town - now. Though it's 31 May, the start of summer for the northern hemisphere, it's the dead of winter for Australians. This beach town (also the Easternmost point of Australia) multiplies exponentially in the summer and the waves strengthen making fantastic surfing weather. A great place to stay a week or two if you want to totally unwind.
