This is the annual familiarization trip for the students / future pilots of the Italian Navy to see, touch, and fly in a REAL helicopter. Some who have flown before might say - big deal, a helicopter. But having flown many times myself, it's always a treat - and I bet not many people get to fly over Tuscany. I was strapped in as photographer and sat next to the sliding door which we had open several times - it's pretty scary looking down from 7,000 feet.
