Trimpello is actually the site of the Grotta del Vento, where we took a day's excursion. It's way up a long, thin, windy road - but well worth it for the views and the incredibly clean mountain air. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in the cave as the tourist passages were all concrete. I felt this took away from the beauty of the place. However I did meet some intriguing people which made up for it. I really like the Garfagnana. :-)
