Taranto, in Puglia, is in the arch of the foot - WAY down south. I only had one day to check it out, so my views are probably skewed. I remember most that it was hot, the bus system didn't work so well, and there was a crazy dog (see picture) that got a kick out of chasing the headlights of cars. Rather, he jumped in front of cars and barked at them...the funny thing is that it was only certain types of cars, not all of them.
